The Performing Right Society (PRS) has
proudly sponsored the Ivors for 32 years – one
of the longest sponsorships in the music
industry.
The Outstanding Contribution to British Music
award has gone to a whole host of PRS members
including Small Faces, The Clash, Kate Bush and
Ray Davies. PRS Most Performed Work has included
You’re Beautiful by James Blunt, Amanda Ghost
and Sacha Skarbeck, Angels by Guy Chambers and
Robbie Williams, and Back For Good by Gary
Barlow. PRS also jointly sponsor the Special
International Award with the Academy - winners
include Stevie Wonder, Holland Dozier Holland,
Gamble and Huff and Brian Wilson.
Fifty thousand composers, songwriters and music
publishers are PRS members and receive royalties
that PRS collects on their behalf. PRS is a
leading not-for-profit European royalty
collecting society.

Music is everywhere,
every day: live performance, TV and radio, CDs,
DVDs, downloads, streams and everything in
between. Royalties create a future for music by
supporting creators while they continue to
write.
